Description
Trying an action shot with something going on in the background. I want to get used to drawing figures interacting with their surroundings since I am so used to just drawing character by themselves.

As an action shot, this is very good! You can definitely feel the motion of the waves and I think you nailed the perspective.
I think to make this picture stand out even more, you should try to refine the lines so that they appear crisper and thus more "finished." It would really make this stand out as a lineart!
I like how the wave and the surfboard create this nice little frame, too. I can definitely see this image as a company or Web site logo. Very cool!
